Craig Higgs Speaking at IAM Conference

October 2008 – Craig Higgs, a San Diego mediator with 25 years experience in alternative dispute resolution, has been selected to speak on a panel at the International Academy of Mediators Annual Conference when it comes to San Diego, November 13-15.

The conference, held at the Westin Horton Plaza, is open to members only. However, prior to the conference, Higgs will present a program on “Mediation Advocacy for the Practicing Lawyer,” which is open to the public. The pre-conference program will be held at the San Diego County Bar Association’s Bar Center.

The International Academy of Mediators is a group of highly experienced, dedicated mediators who promote the highest standards in mediation disputes. The group has a working relationship with Harvard Law School, and conducts two yearly educational programs. Members of the organization must be nominated by a current member and mediate at least 100 cases per year.

Practicing as a neutral over the past 25 years, Higgs has been a Fellow member of the International Academy of Mediators since 2002. He is also an experienced trial attorney and member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
